Wood Veneered Wall and Ceiling Panels by Gustafs

Expertise in Wooden Panel Craftsmanship
Creating wooden panels for walls and ceilings covered in natural wood requires significant craftsmanship and experience. Gustafs specializes in these products, using a fiber gypsum board known for its superior fire safety and acoustic properties. These acoustic wood panels are designed to withstand changes in temperature and humidity, maintaining their linearity over time. This combination makes them suitable for various applications, including large areas and demanding environments.
Key Characteristics
Fire Safety
The high-density, nonflammable core and the securely adhered surface veneer make these panels fire-resistant, classified as ‘non-flammable.’
Acoustic Performance
Heavy wall cladding materials, such as those used by Gustafs, offer better acoustic properties compared to lighter materials. Gustafs panels weigh 15 kg/m², which is about twice as heavy as most wood-based panel materials, enhancing their sound absorption capabilities.
Integrated Installation System
The Gustafs Panel System features fully integrated and concealed installation fixtures, known as Gustafs Capax. This system ensures a quick, reliable, and cost-effective installation process.
Stability
Unlike traditional wood-based panels that can bulge or shrink with humidity and temperature changes, fiber gypsum boards are much less susceptible to these effects. This results in a more planar and linear surface over time.
Sustainability
Gustafs panels, with their fiber gypsum core, produce extremely low emissions and have a high recycled content. Additionally, the panels are manufactured using renewable energy sources.
Surface Design Options
Veneer
Natural wood veneer offers a variety of textures and color tones that mature gracefully.
Pigmented Veneer
Pigments can alter the color tone of the wood veneer, with options including a three-stage white pigment scale for wood veneers.
Stained Veneer
Staining the wood veneer can create different aesthetic effects on walls or ceilings.
Painted Veneer
Gustafs panels feature a smooth and even surface, ideal for painting while retaining the wooden texture. They can be specified in a range of colors according to standards such as NCS or RAL, with a gloss rate up to 50.
Painted in Solid Colors
Panels can also be painted directly, providing a solid color finish that is difficult to achieve on-site due to the even surface of the panels.
Laminate
As an alternative to wood, laminate cladding panels can be used for walls and ceilings. The smooth, flat panel core of Gustafs, combined with laminate coating, creates an impeccable surface finish that is hard to replicate with on-site treatments. These laminate panels also achieve fire classification B-s1,d0.
